1,500 creative minds will bring their thoughts and ideas to life in Postbyen when LEGO moves into The Stamp, which is still under construction.
LEGO’s new Copenhagen division, the “Copenhagen Hub,” will be a 30,000 m², 9-story innovation hub designed to attract top talent with its central and attractive location.
Danske Bank’s new headquarters in Postbyen serves as the daily workplace for more than 4,500 employees, making it one of Denmark’s largest contiguous workplaces.
Sustainability has been a top priority, influencing the choice of materials, energy consumption, and accessibility to public transportation. The headquarters is certified with the prestigious LEED Gold sustainability standard. Its design reflects the bank’s Nordic heritage, featuring oak flooring, cast concrete, and walls clad in pine wood.
Parts of the bank’s ground floor are open to the public, and it’s worth taking a look at this impressive architectural masterpiece. You’ll find Joe & the Juice and Original Coffee here, with plans for more spots to open soon, transforming even more of the building’s beautiful ground floor into a food court area for the enjoyment of thousands of employees in Postbyen —and the rest of us.
The British hotel group Edyn is coming to Postbyen, opening 236 boutique hotel apartments located in two of Postbyen’s towers.
Edyn operates with a vision of creating havens across European cities, collaborating with the most interesting partners to reflect diversity in their design.
Via the newly constructed access between the Central Station and Postbyen, you pass by Hotel Villa Copenhagen, which offers 390 rooms. Since 1909, the building has been a landmark of Copenhagen, and before Villa moved in and carried out extensive renovations, the beautiful building housed the Danish Post and Telegraph Service.
The hotel’s classical facade creates an interesting blend of old and new and is an integrated part of Postbyen. Between Villa and Danske Bank runs the grand entrance staircase, the so-called cultural axis, with a view of the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek.
The beautiful, cohesive buildings at the corner of Bernstorffsgade and Kalvebod Brygge form a high-quality multi-user facility, currently leased by several major companies, including the Swedish banking group SEB, internet company One.com, Heimstaden, BAT (British American Tobacco), Disney, Danske Bank, and Danica Pension.
